An early season garlic from the Turban Group with beautiful purple striped skin, also known as Oriental Purple. Introduced to Australia as part of the AGIA 1994 Import Programme, this cultivar was collected at a market in Xi Zhou village, Yunnan Province, China where it had been cultivated at an altitude of 2000m.
Decadent, rich, hot garlic flavour. Large cloves, easy to peel.
